Testimonial

No words can express my deep respect, gratitude and admiration that I have for Richie. After 2 bad accidents with a young horse followed by trips to the emergency room, I lost my confidence to ride, even my good horse.  Knowing this, I attended a well known clinician’s horsemanship clinic, spending a small fortune.  Unfortunately, I left there in tears and feeling more frustrated and less confident than ever.  Not realizing the best help was right in my neighborhood.  I asked Richie to evaluate my horse so that I could put a price on him to sell him.   Richie’s evaluation showed that my horse was ‘broke’.   He asked me “why – do you want to sell this horse?”  I explained my frustration and lack of confidence.  He honestly told me the issue in not the horse – “the rider” needed training.  He was 100% correct.  I needed to learn how to ‘ride’ my horse.  So, I made a promise to myself and him, I would keep my horse only if he helped me through lessons.  After a few lessons my husband could not believe how much we grew as a team.  I see a huge change in myself and my horse, he respects me, the bonding, the trust, and his fear of objects is decreasing.  Just a huge change; with each lesson, the confidence and the knowledge level is growing which is bringing back my smile and enjoyment of riding.

Richie’s lessons give the rider the guidance to do the task right, the knowledge why you are doing it, and the confidence to do it right.  There are a lot of people that ride a horse – but until they understand “horsemanship” the enjoyment of riding has not reached it’s peak.  In my lessons, I am beginning to feel the horsemanship develop.  I found myself trying so hard to follow his directions and doing it right, that I am building confidence back without even knowing it.   This past weekend, I was asked if I would sell my horse.   I just smiled and said they were a year to late.  He is staying – Thanks to Richie ;-))))

Sincerely, Carolyn Moshe
